Pipe Organ at Saint Philip's

We have a two manual, thirteen rank, mechanical action pipe organ, built in 1894 by Hook and Hastings.  Its first home was in North Carolina, from which it moved to Maine, and then in 1975 to Saint Philip's.  Prior to installation, the organ was rebuilt by the Andover Organ Company, including revoicing and addition of a three rank mixture.  The Twelfth was added recently, and it was dedicated on September 23, 2007. The organ is maintained by Czelusniak et Dougal, Inc.
Great: 8' Principal, 8' Gedeckt, 4' Octave, 2&2/3' Twelfth, III Mixture (2', 1&1/3', 1')
Swell (enclosed): 8' Gedeckt, 4' Open Flute, 2' Principal, 1&1/3' Larigot, 8' Oboe
Pedal: 16' Bourdon
Couplers: Great to Pedal, Swell to Pedal, Swell to Great
Tremolo
Manuals: 58 notes
Our pipe organ was made possible by a gift from Myrtle Butterfield, and it was dedicated to her memory when it was installed in 1975.  Donald Hooton, parish organist, gave a dedication recital on June 15, 1975.  The Twelfth was added on September 23, 2007, given by Ed Abbe.
