Youth at Saint
Philip's
We strive to be a welcoming, supportive, and nurturing place for both
children and adults here at St. Philip’s. We are
thrilled to have many families in our midst, and we make every effort
to offer the very best opportunities for our young people to learn
about Jesus, fellowship, and what it means to be a Christian.
We start with our very youngest members engaging them in
age-appropriate activities as laid out in our wonderful curriculum from
Living the Good News. Children explore and focus on topics
such as faithfulness, patience, and the different events in
Jesus’ life. Lessons are enhanced and reinforced
with activities incorporating music, art, games, stories, and
prayer.
We have a thriving Sunday School program offering classes for children
in preschool through grade 6, with nursery care for children under
3. Some of our older youth serve as acolytes during worship
services, or attend church with their families. We are in the
process of developing an educational program for our teens that will
provide regular and long-term opportunities for spiritual growth and
fellowship, (by exploring topics targeting this age-group)
